FACEIT has always worked to set a high standard of professionalism, transparency and good faith in the community. Following Valve’s decision, all persons banned from official Valve competitions in relation to the current, and future, match fixing have been banned from participating in any FACEIT events or competitions.

The list of individuals as provided by Valve includes:

  • Derek ”dboorn” Boorn
  • Casey Foster
  • Sam ”Dazed” Marine
  • Braxton ”swag” Pierce
  • Keven ”AZK” Larivière

Effective immediately, Casey Foster, who had been supporting FACEIT in North America since November 2014, has been relieved from his duties and is not involved in any FACEIT activity.

As a direct result of the bans Clutch Cats, consisting of banned players Sam “DaZeD” Marine, Braxton “swag” Pierce and Keven “AZK” Larivière, will see their invites for the FACEIT 2015 League revoked. Both Joshua “steel” Nissan and Derek ”dboorn” Boorn will also not be allowed in the FACEIT 2015 League Closed Qualifier. The remaining members of the team have the option to continue with alternative players, under a different team name.
